2-8 Model
It applies to measure temperature of solid items by putting it on a surface. The probe has a hole in the middle for dense compression to the surface by screws. It's recommended to install it on thermal paste to ensure better thermal conduction and to cover the probe by thermal insulation to avoid effect of environmental temperature.
